I never do anything by halves. I had been living with my partner Rob, for six years when we decided to liven things up. We moved to a bigger house that was falling down around our ears, saved up a year's annual leave (which was torture), got married and then went on honeymoon on a shoestring for 5 weeks in Italy.

Hi Guys,

 

Just come back from my night shift and have house full of kids. Im waiting for baby sitter to come and take one to Sports camp and look after the other- and the eldest is going into school to do ICT coursework as he is taking his GCSES next month.

I'm pretty tired (as usual!) Last night I had a student with me- lovely gentle African Nurse called Olivia who had never seen a baby being born and was new.

A Normal Twin Delivery

Hi Guys,

 

Wow! Remember the lovely positive thinking lady I met the other day? She was 38 weeks pregnant with DCDA twins and had a toddler at home? She had come in for an induction and I met her again today on the post-natal ward.

 

I chose the bay she was in purely because I had met her before.

 

I had met her the morning of the 8th and she was in to start the induction procedure. Her waters were artificially broken and she had a synt....


 

Insomnia

Hi guys,

 

Well Ive got a terrible attack of insomnia today. I always get this after working nights. Ive done 3 night shifts and havn't been to bed yet! Ive been awake for about 36 hours now and its Easer holidays so im looking after the kidstoday as well. Our night shifts are from 9pm til 8am and I met 2 very different twin mums last night.

 

One was a first time Mum expecting twins who I think is very lonely and is facing spending the next 5 weeks on ou....
